I work in the Spray Analysis and Research Services department performing research on nozzles and spraying systems. Research includes characterizing sprays by measuring droplet size and velocity, mass flux and spray angle using various techniques like phase Doppler interferometry, laser diffraction, Mie scattering. I also perform testing to optimize spray systems for conveyor applications among others. I also design prototype spray systems, nozzles and injection lances for customers specific applications.
